Family Refuge is an outreach of Maryland Community Church that desires to empower families to heal, grow and thrive in Jesus name. It oversees the following three ministries:

Fostering Hope encourages MCC to invest in life-changing relationships to help vulnerable children and their families take steps closer to Christ. This happens by becoming foster parents or supporting foster homes in groups called “care communities”.Hope House www.familyrefuge.org/hopehouse

A faith based preschool that offers full time childcare. All are welcome as our families are from diverse backgrounds, as we desire to help our families feel seen and valued.

The goal of YFC is for every young person in the Wabash Valley to hear the good news of Jesus Christ and become a part of a local church. A major part of YFC is having a weekly Bible study in all the local middle school and high schools in the area, which are commonly known to the students as "Donut club".

Camp Illiana offers Christian-based summer camps from kindergarten to High School as well as a variety of events for all ages throughout the year with the goal of providing each camper or attendee with an opportunity to have a life altering encounter with Jesus Christ.

InterVarsity is a vibrant campus ministry that establishes and advances witnessing communities of students and faculty and MCC is specifically investing in the relationships at Indiana State and Rose-Hulman. Many students have taken steps closer to Christ while attending our local colleges .
14th & Chestnut Community Center and Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard (Terre Haute, IN) http://www.14ccc.org
The 14th and Chestnut Community Center is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of local children. Among other programs, the community center runs an after-school program to ensure children have positive influences in a safe environment and a food pantry (Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard).
Crossroads Care Clinic (Terre Haute, IN) https://www.crossroadscareclinic.net
Crossroads offers pregnancy related medical services for men and women in Terre Haute and now in the surrounding area through a mobile unit that visits outlying areas. In all the ministries, a goal is developing relationships with clients and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ while caring for people in difficult situations.

Next Step Community is a faith-based program for those who are serious about overcoming their addiction to drugs and alcohol. Next Step provides both residential programs and outpatient services with the goal of helping clients manage their substance use disorder to regain an independent, substance-free lifestyle.

Kids Hope is a ministry through which adults from MCC show the love of Christ to at-risk kids by making a personal connection for one hour each week at Davis Park Elementary.

Christian Student Fellowship is a place for college students at Indiana State to find community and to grow in their relationship with Jesus. The ministry at ISU molds many students during this impactful time of their life.

The mission of Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, so they might become loving and productive citizens of their communities.
