Joining a Care Community

Care Communities exist to offer emotional, spiritual/prayer, and physical/financial support for foster families through the ministry of Fostering Hope.

Care Community Roles:

  • Family Helper
Serves the family by providing one meal per month, runs errands, assists with housework, yard work, and other practical tasks.

  • Child Caregiver
Provides childcare or mentorship 1-3 times per month as needed. You will have time with children without parents present.

  • Team Leader
Provides leadership for the Care Community. Contacts the foster family weekly and sends out a weekly email updating the team on prayer requests. This role can be uniquely filled or combined with any of the other roles.

Volunteer Orientation:

Your first step is to attend a Volunteer Orientation. There is no obligation to join a Care Community, simply come and learn more.

Fill out the form below and someone from the Fostering Hope team will contact you with details about the next Volunteer Orientation session.
