Wednesday Night LIVE is a great way for students to get connected at Maryland Community Church. Our vision is that students would be connected in God’s Word, be connected to other believers and connected to a caring adult leader. Each week, students will gather for an intentional time of worship, a weekly “Refresher” of our Sunday Message Series, and then split into gender and grade specific Small Groups.
Have you ever wondered what your child experiences in their MCC Kids Elementary environment? Come and see for yourself! We are inviting all parents to visit the Elementary room at both campuses on October 8th and October 22nd at either service! We can't wait to spend a Sunday with you! No registration necessary, just show up!
6th - 12th graders, start your Christmas break with a bang and hop on charter buses with 200 friends to skate in Indy, watch a midnight movie, and go crazy at Dave & Busters with endless arcade games, pool, and a junk-food buffet!
The ultimate goal of Kairos is to build a Christian community inside the prison and to encourage them to pray and fellowship which each other and meet together weekly with volunteers. This is the heart of Kairos. Prisoners are often lost in darkness, and we have an opportunity to show them the light of Christ’s love and forgiveness. Then we ask them to forgive others, and most importantly, themselves. They have a new friend and new hope in Jesus Christ, if they choose to allow Him.
At its core we believe the membership at a local church should mean something. Here we view it as a responsibility, not a reward. By becoming a member you are essentially saying, "I not only agree with what this congregation stands for, but I want to play an active role in living it out with the people of this church." We offer a membership class seasonably as a next step toward membership at Maryland
Want to connect with other women of MCC?

This annual Christmas giving opportunity is super simple. Pick up a shoebox from the Operation Christmas Child table, fill it up with gifts for a child, and return it by Sunday, November 12th. This not only helps make a great Christmas for a child in need, but is a way to share the gospel with them and their family. Shoeboxes will be available beginning October 8th.
MCC's annual Commitment Sunday is a time to pause and consider what each of us is called to give in the coming year. It is a tangible way to gauge our own hearts and to consciously decide what God is calling us to in 2018.
In 2016 our pastors began to dream what it would look like to integrate students into the whole church body with the goal of involving and retaining teenagers to grow spiritually and missionally long term. On December 31, 2017, we will begin transitions that can bring about longer lasting faith for students.
MCC will be honoring Pastor Vince McFarland with an Emeritus Celebration Sunday on December 10th. We will take time during services to recognize the many ways Pastor Vince has served our church and our city. There will also be a special love offering taken up to help bless Vince and his wife Sandy as they prepare for a 4 month sabbatical starting January 1, 2018. Although Pastor Vince will be retiring from Maryland Community Church staff, he will retain the honorary title of Pastor Emeritus.
