Investing in life-changing relationships to help vulnerable children and their families take steps closer to Christ.
Form a Care Community for every foster family, create a healthy community for our MCC foster parents, and increase the number of active foster families at MCC
A Care Community is a structured group of 5-8 people who have a variety of skills to support foster families. The Care Community will be matched with one foster family for encouragement and practical help throughout the time children are placed with the family.
- 82% increase in kids who need a home in past 3 years.
- 647 children in our community that NEED a home
- Only 156 current foster homes in our region
The next step to support foster families through a Care Community is to attend ONE of the info sessions for Fostering Hope. Below are three info session options:
Thursday, March 8 - 6:30pm - 7:45pm at the Hwy 46 campus.
Childcare provided with pre-registration.
We want to invite individuals or families interested in becoming a foster parent to a Question and Answer session. You will be able to talk with other foster parents and people with experience at DCS to learn the good and the difficult aspects of fostering. Please register at the link below for the Foster Parent Info Session. Childcare provided with pre-registration.
