Family Dedication gives parents the opportunity to profess their desire to guide their kids (of any age) in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and partner with the church in doing so. We are your witnesses, but we are also your partner because developing an authentic faith takes more than your family – it takes a church.
So, whether your child is 6 months old, 6 years old or in the 6th grade, we believe it is never too late for a family to dedicate their children. If your family is new to MCC or you desire to take a step closer to Christ for the first time as a family, join us on Sunday, January 8th to publicly express your commitment to raising your children in a home that honors Christ.
To have your child dedicated at MCC:
-We ask parents to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
-We ask parents to be sure their beliefs line up with Maryland Community Church statements of belief.
-We ask parents to be regular attenders of Maryland Community Church weekend services.
-We ask parents who are living together and are not married to take steps to acknowledge and surrender to God’s plan for their relationship before participating in a family dedication service.
We are open to having conversations with you on any of the above statements. If you are interested, contact Jim Pendleton at email@example.com or call (812) 234-7100. Register for Family Dedication online by December 25th. Cost is free.
