WELL DRILLING IN NICARAGUA: An MCC mission team is heading to Nicaragua this fall (Nov. 1-8) to drill a well with Living Water International. We will need $5,500 to get this accomplished. This well will bring fresh, clean water to a place that needs it desperately. You can donate to this fund by going to the MCC web page (, click on the “Giving” tab located at the top of the page. Once there, click on “International Mission Trips” on the left drop down menu and “Nicaragua (Living Water) Nov. 2014″ on the right drop down menu along with the amount you will be giving. Deadline to receive funds is August 15, 2014. *Please note that you will need to create an account to make a donation online.

HELP FEED THE HUNGRY IN THE WABASH VALLEY: Check out the Bag Hunger station in the Cause Corner each Sunday to donate food to the local 14th & Chestnut Food pantry. Summer is a time where food pantries often need the most help, as donations are low and kids are out of school. To participate in Bag Hunger, all you need to do is take a plastic bag from the Cause Corner, purchase the items on the list provided on the bag and bring it back the next time you are at church. We then have volunteers who transport the food from the church to the food pantry. Contact Jody Pomfret at to learn more.

DONATIONS OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES NEEDED: Medical supply donations are needed for the Nurses 4 the Nations Medical Trip in September. Items needed include Band-Aids, non-latex gloves, ibuprofen, multi-vitamins, petroleum jelly, thermometers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. A full list is available at the marked barrel containers in the atrium. Donations can be dropped off at that same location. For more information, please contact Sara Maesch at
