COMMITMENT CARDS: Sunday, November 23  Every year we pause to evaluate our personal financial contributions to MCC. It’s a chance for all of us to pray about our tithing and giving. Please give your 2015 contribution some thought and prayer. A commitment card will be inserted into your bulletin on Sunday for you to review. Cards will be collected on Sunday, Novmeber 23 during our worship gatherings.

THANKSGIVING OFFERING: Sunday, November 23  We will be taking a special offering for the new building that will house the Crisis Pregnancy Center of the Wabash Valley on Sunday, November 23. The CPC offers free, confidential services to hundreds of women and men annually. Their services include post-abortion trauma counseling, pregnancy testing, STD testing, education, and counseling for women and men in a crisis pregnancy. Our goal for this offering is $30,000. Begin praying and planning how you can help with this amazing cause of Christ.

SATELLITE CAMPUS PREVIEW SERVICE: Sunday, November 2 at 10:30 am  For the past three years, the leadership at Maryland has been praying about expanding our main campus into different locations…think MCC but in a different location. Several months ago we were approached by the leaders of Maplewood Christian Church (located at 2000 N 13th St. in Terre Haute) to consider acquiring them as a Maryland satellite. Currently the leadership of both Maryland and Maplewood are exploring the possibility and asking, “Is God leading us to do this?” As part of the exploration process we will have a preview service at Maplewood on Sunday, November 2 at 10:30 am. We would welcome your prayers in the exploration.

MEN’S FRATERNITY STUDY: Due to popular demand of our first study, MCC Men will launch an evening opportunity for men to be involved in Men’s Fraternity: A Quest for Authentic Manhood on Monday nights beginning November 10 at 6:30 pm at MCC. This is a 24-week program designed to help men live a fuller, more adventurous life and become who they want to be as leaders, husbands, fathers, and friends in Christ. WORSHIP DANCE OPPORTUNITY: Join us for a worship dance experience! This is not a performance group, but an opportunity to enter into God’s presence and worship Him through dance. COLLEGE-AGE LUNCH AT STEINER’S: The college crew will be meeting up on Sunday, November 2 right after the 11 AM service (approximately 12:30 pm). Come out for food, fun, conversation and have a chance to connect with old friends and meet new ones. MCC STUDENTS ZOMBIE NIGHT: Wednesday, October 29 Think massive capture the flag, meets tag, meets hide n’ seek, meets amazing race, meets nerf wars, meets zombie apocalypse, kind of game! This outreach event will be an epic night of FUN AND THRILL for ALL STUDENTS in 6TH-12TH GRADE to invite their friends, hear a gospel message, and afterwards, there will be a hayride for everyone! BINGO NIGHT AT SOUTHWOOD: Monday, November 17  Join us on the third Monday of each month at 7 pm at Southwood Health & Rehabilitation Center (2222 E Margaret Ave.). HELP FEED THE HUNGRY IN THE WABASH VALLEY: Check out the Bag Hunger station in the Cause Corner each Sunday to donate food to the local 14th & Chestnut Food pantry. Summer is a time where food pantries often need the most help, as donations are low and kids are out of school. To participate in Bag Hunger, all you need to do is take a plastic bag from the Cause Corner, purchase the items on the list provided on the bag and bring it back the next time you are at church. PYK (Parents of Young Kids) GYM DAYS: The PYK group meets at the church in the gym on Tuesdays from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm. This is great for anyone wanting to chat with other moms and let their kids run around and play!
