About MCC

A brief history of MCC:

MCC began as the Rogers Sunday School Association. The building was located on the southwest corner of what is now Rae Park on South 7th Street in Terre Haute, IN.

By early 1925, the building was moved across Royce Avenue, just south of Rae Park. The program expanded and by October 2, 1925 The Rogers Sunday School Association became Maryland Community Church. The name “Maryland” came from the “Maryland Subdivision” east and south of the church’s location on 7th Street.

Our current senior pastor, Vince McFarland, came in 1986. By the spring of 1993 we outgrew the 3 acre location on 7th Street and moved to 14 acres on Highway 41.

In the summer of 2001 we moved to our present 110 acre location.
